So I have malware on my Computer -- Andr/FakeIns-O and Mal/ASFDldr-A -- It is a Macbook Air running 10.7.5 with the latest version of SOPHOS. I can't clean the threat from my computer. Clearing them from the list, they just come back. It just says it could not cleanup the threat after "cleaning" for a long time. When I go into the SOPHOS logs, to look for the path, this is what I find:
com.sophos.intercheck: 2014-06-28 09:03:54 -0400 Threat: 'Mal/ASFDldr-A' detected in
com.sophos.intercheck: 2014-08-04 14:09:02 -0400 Threat: 'Andr/FakeIns-O' detected in
com.sophos.intercheck: 2014-08-04 22:34:24 -0400 Threat: 'Andr/FakeIns-O' detected in
Can anyone help me figure out how to rid myself of these threats? I am ready to reset my computer back to factory but what good would that do if Time Machine will just put the same files with the malware back on the computer. Thanks!
Gina
