notification that i have this is sitting in my quarantine manager. action available says it can be cleaned up but when i opt for this it just says clean up in progress but

no clean up takes place (spinning disc!).

virus would seem to affect only windows operating systems but i feel uncomfortable with it just sitting there. 

how can i effectively remove it?

please can anyone help this silver surfer??

    still couldnt find path. 

    i cleared the item from the list and ran the scan. it seems to have stopped scanning with 64107 items remaining. it reports that issues

    have been detected but no threats found (obviously so far). i cant seem to get the scan to continue. it is stuck and i cant close it down

    to start again.
