Update downloading, apparently not installing???

I have v 9.1.5, Threat detection engine: 3.53.1, Threat data&colon; 5.06, Protects against 7756826 threats.

For the last few days I've noticed approx 120 KB of data being downloaded in the update dialogue box during an update, but the "updated" dialogue box pops up instantly following the download, rather than taking the few seconds to install that usually happens.

This event, including the same amount of data download, has been happening at least once a day. And the "about" info remains unchanged following each event.

Is it possible the install step is being missed due to a bug?
