8.0.3 released today

Hi everyone,

We released version 8.0.3 today, all machines running 8.0.x should update automatically at some point (might take a few hours to reach your machine). In addition to the normal detection improvements we fixed the AutoUpdate crash that plagued G3 users, improved the behavior for "stuck scans" some people have seen in the GUI, and also includes general stability improvements.

We are still on track to release 8.0.4 with fixes for the reports of kernel panics at the end of May.

    From comments in this and other threads, it appears that if a software update is issued the auto-update feature should pick it up, just as it does for the threat database. In this case there is some sort of delay, at least for some of us.
