You are not Sophos Staff.
I was alerted to an infection, but on going to Quarantine Manager I found the attached result. I am not told where the infected files are, and though I have initiated the declared removal process it just continues indefinitely without any result. What do I do now?
Can you check the Sophos Anti-Virus.log and see if it mention a failed cleanup? Could be that the items are in a Time Machine backup, or an external volume that can't be written to by SAV. Example of a Time Machine cleanup failure:
Or go back to the log for the scan you ran and see where the items are detected. See the thread below for info. on where the logs are if required.
