Problems Uninstalling

Dear Sir or Madam

I am currently using a Mac and recently attempted to uninstall Sophos Version 8.0.16. I have uninstalled the software, however I now keep getting error messages saying something along the lines of "Sophos is not running" -and Sophos still appears in my task bar, even though it's no longer in my application folder. How do I get rid of it entirely?

How did you uninstall? If you dragged the 'Sophos Remove' app to the trash that's not going to work.

I guess you're going to try restoring the 'Sophos Remove' file from the (now working) zip on the other thread?

Post back if that helps or not.
