Apache OpenOffice 4

Hi All, Does anybody know if Apache OpenOffice 4 is safe to download to my imac? It is a free program so I am wondering if the download comes with Malware. Cheers :1015621

Cheers It depends on where you get it from. This is the official website. However, you might also consider LibreOffice , which appears to be more aggressively maintained. I've been using LibreOffice for years, and though it's not Microsoft Office, it's close and it's free. :1015629
