Apache OpenOffice 4

Hi All,

Does anybody know if  Apache OpenOffice 4 is safe to download to my imac? It is a free program so I am wondering if the download comes with Malware.

    It depends on where you get it from. This is the official website. However, you might also consider LibreOffice, which appears to be more aggressively maintained. I've been using LibreOffice for years, and though it's not Microsoft Office, it's close and it's free.
