.. if this has been asked and answered before!

I installed the software and used it for about 6 weeks before uninstalling it and reverting to iAntivirus. The reason - it crippled the launch speed of a number of applications and made others run so slowly that the benefits of having a Mac (It just Works) were completely negated.

Have others had similar issues? Can anything be done to stop or at least reduce this effect? Thanks.

    Thanks!  I'm sure this will help out both the dev team and support going forward.  The Office for Mac 2008 issue seems a bit odd to me though.  Maybe it's due to docx etc. files being zipped archives?

    Have you attempted turning off archive scanning for on-access?
