problem installing

I have not been able to install because the installation software get stuck trying to connect with SOPHOS and never does and keeps spinning with no updates taking place.  Any suggestions?

    I have the exact same issue. The link says "403 Forbidden", and I have had certificate issues with other sites like Google! But some websites work fine. I called Mac support, and after trying a few things, they told me to reinstall OSX. Before taking such a drastic step, I thought I'd try Sophos antivirus, but now I can't even install that ...
