Hello There,

we got hit by this Trojan and a big amount of files got encrypted. Does Sophos offer an ecryption tool for it?

    Hello Olaf,

    the article on Ransomware suggests the files are beyond hope (please read also the referenced papers and articles). Early malware of this type either used weak encryption or or a key generation which made it possible to recover the key. Meanwhile it has been significantly "improved" and thus decryption is - as the article says - not technically possible.
