How to delete a Demo License

Question

Hi

For testing I have installed a demo license for the product "Data Exchange". Infortunaly there's no "uninstall license" function.

The problem is... reaching the expiring date no Policy will be applied on a client at all, so the hole Safeguard Enterprise Service is stopped :-(

Does anyone have an idea how to handle this?

I'm assuming you are using SGN 5.40 which has a license expiration date that is far out there to keep you covered. If you have a production license as well, what you can do is reapply the Default License.XML found in the c:\Program Files\Utimaco\SafeGuard Enterprise\Management Center directory, of course assuming you installed the SGN MC there. Using the SGN MC in the Licenses tab found on most of the container objects point to that installation directory. Click the button to apply the new license. This will reset your eval license. Using the same process, now apply your production license you received when you purchased SGN. This will set you right. If not, please provide some details on what is not right so we can get things squared away. :1082
