Safeguard Web Help Desk Login

We are currently testing Sophos Safeguard Enterprise as a trial before purchasing.  When attempting to login to the Safeguard Web Help Desk, to enter a challenge code, the following error is received: "You do not have sufficient rights to run the CR Tool."  The user has been imported in from AD and assigned Security Office rights.  A cert has been generated for the user as well.  User has also been given full access to the Domain Root within Users & Computers.

  • That person probably doesn't have the security rights required to run it. Try promoting the person to master security officer as an experiment to see if that fixes the issue, if it does then you know what the problem is, you security officer role doesn't have the security rights you need to use that tool and do a recovery function like challenge/response.
