SGE 5.6 Error 5001

Got a problem with SafeGuard Easy simple 5.6 local install. getting error 5001 not enough continuous disk space when installing

Low level formatted drive, chkdsk and Followed advice to defrag with a 3rd party tool, which was done 3 times. with different tools No difference.

 This is on a 250 Gig hard disk with 220 Gb free (just Windows XP SP 3 and Office installed) laptop is HP ProBook 6550b. Disk was built from an image using Acronis - any ideas? Any one?

    Thanks for replys - There is only one partition on the drive, Base image was from a smaller drive, NTFS is the file format. I did do a fixmbr. As a couple of you suggested looks like a partition problem which has come from my initial image. I've created a new image from scratch and looks ok now. I will try experimenting a little to see if I can make good the partition info to see if I can find what the exact problem is.
