Message "error=0x02" after POA problem

After I installed SGNClient.msi (My SGN upgraded from version 5.35 to version 5.5),

When i logged in after POA, show the message below:
     "SafeGuard is loading OS now!"
     "error=0x02"

After logged in to the windows (OS:win 7, PC:Lenovo ThinkVantage ), All function worked  properly.

But, What is meaning of "error=0x02"?

Can somebody help me please?

  • From what I've heard from Sophos support, it has to do with the disk access functions of the BIOS (one of the Sophos guys can correct me if I'm wrong). I've actually seen this quite a bit in my deployment, and we've had machines completely fail to boot the OS, and only show this error message.

    With that said, if the OS will boot (which it sounds like it does in your case), I don't think it's too much of a problem.  We have a user here that has Windows Vista and SGN 5.40 installed on his laptop, and he's been getting the 0x02 error for almost a year without having any issues.
