BEFLT.SYS causing BSOD

We are using SafeGuard Device Encryption, and it seems to have some difficulties with Kingstion DataTraveler Encrypted USB drive. One of our users clicked "Shutdown DTSecure Privacy" in the task tray to close the session with the USB drive, and this action resulted in a BSOD. The cause of the BSOD is BEFLT.SYS (SafeGuard Device Encryption Filter). Anyone has any idea, what to do about it, please?

    I have the same on one machine and tried CHKDSK C: /F /V with the hope it helps

    Does anybody of you got a own solution, helpfull experience or the solution of the sophos support?

    We have the problem if the computer is running several days and a sd card want be be opened. During the reboot we get a bluescreen and the error. The text in the bluescreen tells about beflt.sys.

    The reason for BEFLT.SYS causing a BSoD could be related to how other filter drivers, such as Kingstons's or the SD card manufacturers, are reacting to the Sophos filter driver being present. I recomend contacting Sophos Technical Support to open a case for deeper investigation.

    Another tip, you may want to remove external storage devices such as SD cards or USB/firewire HDDs when restarting SafeGuard encrypted drives.

    I have a similar issue in that I have  Safeguard encryption and for the past three working days I've gotten BSOD up to two times per day ramdomly and the error message indicates a problem with BEFLT.SYS.

    Did anyone get any feedback from Sophos or a driver update notification?
