Safeguard Enterprise 5.5 hangs during boot process

Hi,

I have dell E6410 with Windows 7 and Sophos Enterprise 5.5.

From time to time, safeguard hangs during boot process. I see "Sophos Safeguard is loading..." and it stays like that forever.

Pressing Shift+f3 helps.

However it is magice when it starts when it does not. I do not have USB drive connected. With docking station it boots, without it does not.

What is the problem?

    Is this something that happens every time, or just intermittently?

    I have a test Dell Latitude E5410 that installed SGN 5.50 without any of the hotkeys, but after installation/encryption would intermittently fail to boot.  Most of the time, you could just turn the machine off, and turn it back on and it would boot up properly (although, a few times it took multiple tries).  At the time, it was running Windows XP and SGN 5.50, but I've since re-imaged it to Windows 7 and haven't installed SGN yet.

    Also, is there an ETA on the 5.50.1 release?
