Safeguard Enterprise 5.5 hangs during boot process

Hi,

I have dell E6410 with Windows 7 and Sophos Enterprise 5.5.

From time to time, safeguard hangs during boot process. I see "Sophos Safeguard is loading..." and it stays like that forever.

Pressing Shift+f3 helps.

However it is magice when it starts when it does not. I do not have USB drive connected. With docking station it boots, without it does not.

What is the problem?

    This seems to be related to motherboard chipsets or some other hardware. Our company have received quite many Dell Exx10 series laptops and this problem appears only for some of computers, not all.

    One good example was one E6510 which first worked ok, but after motherboard change this problem started. So I think Dell is using different kind of motherboards and only some of them are not fully compatible with SGN 5.50.

    edit: BIOS version and settings were exactly same in both motherboars.
