I'm not sure how applicable this is to SGE, but I know in SGN that you can boot from a WinPE CD or UFD and use the RecoverKeys program (with a virtual client) to unlock the drive. From there, you should be able to repair the boot information.
I know that SGE v5.5 allows for you to boot from a WinPE CD or UFD, but I don't know whether you can use the recoverkeys program to unlock the drive. One of the Sophos guys will have to fill us in on that.
