Web Appliance - Override button feature request

Oops posted this in wrong forum first time.

Not sure where to put feature request, so just dropping it here.

It would be nice if there was an override button on the blocked web pages.  I know I can do the feedback, but it would be nice for administrative users to be able to simply enter a username/password to be able to temporarily override a blocked page.

    Hi,  I'm afraid our Sophos Web Appliance feature request system is not external yet, but we are planning to do this in the near future.  For the time being you could call up Sophos Support who can log a request on our internal system for you.

    By the way, for some users you might want to consider using the 'Warn' category instead.  Therefore the user can be warned of your internet usage policy, but choose to proceed.

    Like you said, you can also use 'User Feedback' as an easy way to allow / re-categorize sites. 

    Or simply enter the site in the Local Site List and tag it as a 'Globally allowed site'.

    But if you want the user to be prompted for Admin credentials when browsing to a blocked site (similair to how UAC works on windows) then that would need to be a feature request.
