Lock Question

Good day everyone,

I installed Sophos antivirus for my Mac last night and must say that I am floored with the program. However, one minor question keeps at me. After I have changed my preferences and clicked the lock, sometimes I find that, after a time, this lock no longer remains closed. Usually, I find it open after I have restarted my computer or cancelled a scan. Is this normal? My Mac is virus free at the moment, and I do have automatic updates as well as on access scanning enabled, but I am a bit puzzled by the lock. If anybody has an explanation for this, I would appreciate it very much.

    Good news about the lock quandary. I finally discovered that the Sophos preferences unlocked after I had used my administrator password to initiate a new full scan. Thus, the mystery is solved. Once again, Sophos is the best antivirus software that I have ever used, and many thanks to those who developed it.
