Offline Updating

We cannot connect our servers to the internet so require an ability to update the appliances with the latest AV files offline.

Can you download AV updates manually and provide them to a management appliance to push out to web appliances?

    Hi Giles,

    Thanks for the clarification.  I'm afraid there is really no built-in way to set this up.  By design the appliance needs to pull down these updates via HTTP.

    The only possibility would be to replicate the contents of our update server (via an external script) and have the appliance update from there.  However, this does fall outside the realm of the managed support we provide for the appliance, and also requires customization to the backend of the appliance.

    If you contact our Professional Services team they should be able to discuss what options you have and if this kind of setup is feasible.
