AP50 network speed

Hi,
I was under the impression that the AP50 ran the network connection at 1gbs not 100mbs like an AP10 or AP30?
Maybe mine is limited by the POE device that came with it?

AFAIK PoE is not possible with Gigabit because at least two of the 8 wires are needed for powering the device but 8 wires are needed for Gigabit.

EDIT: PoE and gigabit is possible with more advanced PoE standards

Put one my new AP10 powersupplies on the AP50 and bingo 1gb/s.
