WAF Firewall profile for ownCloud server instance

In the same way as my earlier post about a WAF Firewall profile for a Confluence and Jira server, I have been toying around with getting an internal ownCloud (latest version 8.2.1) to work via Web Protection for users on the internal and external network. Once we got it working I got questions for sharing the firewall profile, so here it is for those interested:

Clone the advanced protection profile and rename it.
Disable:
1. Rigid filtering, Static URL hardening, Form hardening, Limit scan size, Skip remote lookups for clients with bad reputation
2. Skip filter rules: 960015,981203,981204,960032,960010,981200,981176,960035
Use this as firewall profile in the Virtual website settings and everything should be working ok.

Hi,

981204 is a base rule. If you skip this rule, the feature won't work.

What do you mean? It looks you're saying that with these exceptions I basically switched back to the "basic protection" profile?

GuidoCraenen,

Do you have issues uploading with the mobile app? All my uploads fail using the mobile app.
Desktop app is working fine.

I currently do not have my virtual webserver set to No Profile.

Can't say. We're not using the mobile apps. Does the problem persist when you set the profile to "basic"?

The difference between the Basic Protection and the Advanced Protection Profile lies somewhere else.

981204 is a base rule of the feature 'Common threats filter'. If you disable this or other base rules, the feature won't work correctly or at all.
