Unable to Filter or do Exceptions based on RANGE anymore

I was on 9.212, upgraded to 9.312, now it seems I can no longer put Network Ranges into either the Website Exceptions area or the Web Filter Policies in the 'Allowed Networks' section.   This is strange because it still lets me put entire subnets, just not ranges of IP addresses.    Is there a reason why this changed?

    Could be a bug or by design.  There were some changes to usage of Network Ranges between 9.2x and 9.3x.  There are some entries in the known issues list, although not these specifically.  If you have a paid license, you may want to contact support to get the official word from Sophos.
