Full and partial block Skype

Hello,

I'm going to evaluate UTM 9 in order to implement it in our infrastructure.
Question 1: I'm facing the following problem - all network traffic to internet is routed through UTM and we have enabled SSL filtering. Because of that Skype cannot authenticates. How it can be configurate UTM to allow SKype, without excluding from SSL filtering. 

Question 2: Once Skype is allowed can be restricted sending and receiving of files (xlsx, docx, txt, pic, etc.)? In fact I got manage that with Active Directory Skype Administrative template, but I would like to achive it on network level - does UTM identify Skype protocol (Netasq did it)?

Question 3: I would like to allow my users to access free webmail such like gmail, yahoo and etc, but I want to restrict download and attach files (accessing local drives for read/write) in order to prevent unauthorised sensitive data transfer.

Question 4: Can I allow Facebook general function usage, without Video, File sharing, Pictures upload/download, Games, Apps and etc. I found there are predefined functions in Web Filtering but the don't work - I can only stop Facebook at all or allow at all.

    1. you need to look at the logs and see what is blocking Skype; it could be the IPS or Application Control or Web Protection.

    2. The UTM's Application Control system can identify Skype traffic. I don't know that it can block file transmission within Skype.

    3. maybe possible with Web Protection & SSL filtering; you can block file types.

    4. I don't know, but see also Application Control
