I run a web design shop and we've run into a very unusual situation with one of our registration applications. I am trying to determine if perhaps Astaro/SOPHOS is causing the problem, but I can't find any reference to the situation.
One of our clients is using the online registration application on their website, which allows corporate partner employees to register for courses and seminars they provide. This client services four major corporations. While we have absolutely no problem with three of these corporations, we find it impossible for the fourth corporation's employees to make the submission. This corporation uses Astaro/SOPHOS.
The exact problem stems from the email address that is submitted with the form from a system located within the perimeter. If an employee uses their personal email address (GMail, Web.de and so on) the form submits fine and the registration is complete.
If the employee uses their corporate email address, the form returns Error 503 Service Unavailable.
If we test the same email address from a system outside the perimeter the registration completes correctly without any problems.
The question:
Is there a setting in Astaro/SOPHOS that allows administrators to block the submission of corporate emails in webforms for websites outside the perimeter? I could see this as a viable option in the system in order to prevent users from subjecting the corporate email account to spamming, but not sure if Astaro/SOPHOS has this or not.
(I don't know the version of Astaro this corporation is using as they will tell us they are using it but that's about it).
