how to enable web filtering via ip address only

Hi Sophos friends,

I am in the process of setting up our first Sophos box and quite frankly its a bit of a head banger. 

I have been able to accomplish what I want to do much quicker with untangle so it seems I must be missing something.

Basic info:

Our setup - Internet ->  Router -> UTM -> LAN
Most of the settings are the factory default. Please see screen grabs below.

The UTM sends traffic through just find and everything is working great until I try to start filtering.

I can't seem to just find how to make a group with 10 IPs in it and limit access to the time wasting sites. I don't want to do user authentication, I don't want to make it overly configured and complicated.

With untangle they have a neat feature that allows you to just set an IP or IP range and block or pass that through the web filter.

I would like to know how to do that if possible - is it possible and how? Thanks for any help/advice!

    I am fairly new to Sophos UTM, using at home for few weeks. 

    This what you are talking about was pretty much straight forward for me, and I believe it should be for you, given you put some effort into it.

    You need:
    1. Setup your devices with static IP addresses, DHCP - setup hosts with static assignements
    2. setup time schedule with desired times
    3. setup webfiltering profiles and attach them to desired devices (drag and drop on filter properties).

    Perhaps try to start with actually clicking and going through those menus, most of them are really easy to understand.
