Bypass by computer instead of user

Is it possible to setup a blocking bypass using a computer (so that all requests from the computer/IP are bypassed) instead of user (so that the user won't have to enter their credentials each time)?

    If you are using the proxy in transparent mode, use the transparent mode skiplist.  Web Protection > Filtering Options > Misc

    Nope, it bypasses the proxy completely.  Your other option would be a separate proxy profile for certain specific hosts with more categories allowed in the filter action assigned to avoid blocks.

    Or create a proxy exception - you can use 'coming from these source hosts' as criteria in there.

    It looks like this video does what I need it to do, but it's based on an older version of Sophos UTM, and I can't seem to find some of the options they're describing.

    Where can I set that? All I found is "Skip transparent mode source hosts/nets" under Web Protection -> Filtering Options -> Misc. That does allow the host to bypass the proxy restrictions, but also stops the AV scanning of the traffic.

    Very important.  You need to read through the admin guide/built-in help while following along in WebAdmin to have an understanding what configuration options are available and where they are at now.  Take the time to do this and life will be easier.  Don't and you are in for a world of misery and frustration with UTM.
