Sbsondemand

Hello 

Running Sophos UTM 9.3. Have enabled Web filter in transparent mode  Running only base policy with Web-ads category set to blocked. Trying to gain access to streaming media (see web filter log attached) through website SBS On Demand | Catch Up TV | Watch thousands of TV programs, movies, documentaries, news, sport and much more online for free a site which is geo blocked to only allow AUS users, something independant of any sophos utm related issue iam having. 

Category Webads Allow = Player loads, content streams after video advertisements
Category Webads Warn = Player loads , no video advertisements , no content streaming
Category Webads Blocked = Player loads , no video advertisements , no content streaming

The goal here is to watch the streaming content whilst still blocking the bulk of advertisements when surfing. Tried some url exclusions with the help of regex app however still no luck. Please see attached log *of webfilter set to long only blocked events! Please help!

    Hello

    Actually had "Bypass content scanning for streaming content" already ticked. Rebooted to make sure but still have same issue. 

    Further isolated issue by adding ip address of computer  (of which sbsondemand content is viewed) to "Skip transparent mode source hosts/nets" which did work. But this is not really a solution as to bypass all traffic from proxy of one computer for the sake of streaming content on that computer. Removed IP address "Skip transparent mode source hosts/nets and content no longer worked again

    Added exact urls from log file to target url bypass in exclusion list  on webfilter and content worked. Problem is that the sbsondemand refers browser to secondary urls (which seem dynamic over a long period of time) If secondary urls cannot be contacted because they have changed from the ones entered in the target url exclusion list  = no content.

    all these "urls" either seem to have sbs somewhere in there address or "int". How do i enter in these patterns?

    Have read Regular Expressions for Defining URL Patterns in Sophos UTM but iam a noob when it comes to languages ie perl (and English grammar ) [:)]
