However the link in that thread to the "solution" is no longer a valid link. The problem seems to be when I'm trying to upload files larger than 1MB outbound through the Sophos gateway with the transparent proxy turned on. I know that if I add the internal machine to the transparent "Skip hosts" list then things work just fine, but I'd rather avoid doing that if possible. Does anyone know where this "maximum" upload file size for outbound traffic that they mention in that thread is set now?
