Hello guys,
I'm totally new to Sophos UTM, I'm using it at home, running as a VM (esxi 5.5) with 3 interfaces:
Eth0 = Internal Network
Eth1 = DMZ (not currently used)
Eth2 = WAN (Passthrough dedicated NIC from PPPoE modem).
and I'm trying to setup a simple port forwarding for basic port 80 web material.
This was working previously on my Tomato Router a few hours ago, so I know everything else is "in place" so to speak.
I've got a rather simple scenario:
Web server hosting on port 80 internally, and want simple external port 80 accessible from the web.
I've gone through the documented NAT process:
NAT >
New NAT Rule
Rule Type : DNAT
Traffic From: ANY
Using Service: HTTP
Going to: External (WAN) (Address)
Action:
Change Destination to: AquariumControllerIP
And the Service to : HTTP
Automatic Firewall rule CHECKED.
I test with this setup, and I get nothing.
I checked my firewall, and I'm not seeing the above firewall rule, so I manually created the (what I would think) rule:
Position: 2
Sources: ANY
Services: HTTP
Destinations: AquariumControllerIP
Action: Allow
Still no go... I'm stumped.
What am I doing wrong....
