Webfilter User Login Info Text

Hello,

we are using Webfilter for user authenticationon Sophos UTM 9 in Home licence and want to change the text you see in the attached picture. But it seems that this feature (the custom text) was removed with some previous patch in the past year. Is there way to change that?

In addition to that: Is it possible to find out the user account from a person who uses a device which is flagged from the UTM for suspicious traffic?

    Customization is not enabled when using the Home License.

    If you are using authentication, you should see the user name in the Web Filtering Log.

    As far as I know did we never leave the Home License, but have got a customization. So is there a way to remove that text?


    When I see the Advanced Threat Protection Window in the Dashboard and click on the number of infected hosts, it only display the IP-Address.

    It is normally in Management, Customization.

    I don't know what is allowed or not under Home License.  I wonder if maybe it was configured under a 30-day free trial license which is less restrictive.

    It looks like you might have done a full template customization - very hard to do in backend.

    However if it is only changing the email address, and you used the standard variable rather than hardcoding...

    There is no Email-Adress, just two names. I want to delete the whole sentence or disable it. Is this what your cmd lines do?

    I gave you the back end location of where the email address is stored on a system with a default configuration.  Once at that location you can type =newvalue to set it to some new value.

    You have changed from the default configuration, somehow.  I have no idea how you are configured or the precise commands for your precise situation.  You'll have to figure some of it out yourself.
