Blocking Chrome Plug-Ins for Proxy

We have discovered several plug-ins for Chrome that allow our users to bypass the content filtering, using a proxy site. 

Does anyone have a way to block these items?

    The mechanisms and effectiveness will depend on how your network and filtering are configured as well as the various the plugins and how they work.  

    I do not think you will find one rule or setting to completely solve the problem of users actively subverting policy/TOS/etc.

    Don't overlook the non-technical aspects of discouraging particular user behavior (HR/supervisor discussions, student discipline procedures, etc).
