Web Filter Policies - LAN/WLAN Rule Precedence

Hi,

I have a question. 

In a scenario where internet access is fully blocked and limited using web filtering via ADSSO, and Sophos AP is used to segregate staff and guest access. Guests are on a separate subnet and have full internet access.

What happens when a staff, who happens to know the guest password, deliberately connects to his internal LAN (where ADSSO web filtering rules are enforced) and to the guest wifi (full internet access).

Which rule will take precedence or how will the UTM know which rule to enforce?

    If he is connected to both the wired LAN and the wireless connection at the same time from a single system, it then depends on which connection the request is sent out from on the client system.  The UTM profiles are first evaluated by network.  You need to set the adapter precedence order on the client machine.
