Web Protection Exception using Range

Recently, I needed to add a Range of IP Addresses as my ISP (Optimum Online) provides Netflix Offloading. Unfortunately, under Web Protection --> Filtering Options --> Exceptions --> Hosts/Networks, the only options are:

• Network
  
• Multicast Group
  
• Availability Group
  
• Host
  
• DNS Host
  
• Network Group
  
• DNS Group
  

I noticed a few posts around here that inquired how to add a Range to Web Protection, so I thought I'd offer a workaround other than using regular expressions.

Definitions & Users --> Network Definitions:

• Create a Range --> e.g. 192.168.x.0 to 192.168.x.255.
  
• Create a Network Group --> Add the newly created Range
  
• Add the Network Group Definition to the Web Protection Exception List
