Sophos in AWS

Greetings All,
  Having a pesky problem. We are running a Sophos UTM v9 in AWS. As a web filter and reverse proxy server for websites, it works great. Banging my head against the wall trying to get our POC of Commvault up and talking to the FTP commvault server to get its initial round of updates. Have tried transparent proxy, non transparent, firewall rules. All results are the same. No updates. If anyone has experience with Sophos in AWS, any insight would be very helpful.

    So that I understand, the problem you are having is with the FTP Proxy?

    If you are in a transparent mode setup (all packets flow through the UTM) have you tried turning off the FTP proxy and just adding a firewall rule to allow FTP?

    If that works then remove the rule, put in the FTP Proxy in transparent mode.  Try again with your commvault.  Try using an FTP client like FileZilla to see if that works.  Look at the /var/log/ftp.log and the /var/log/packetfilter.log to see if they have anything interesting.
