Skype without SOCKS

Hi,

We are running UTM v 9.201-23.

I want to be able to allow Skype without having to enable SOCKS as we have a lot of users that work in and out of the office and we do not want them to have to remember to change the settings in Skype each time.

I have set Application Control to allow Skype but this does not work, in Firewall Live Log you can see the traffic being rejected.

Any suggestions?

    we have web filtering in place in browser auth and AD backend.

    firewall is locked down pretty tight only enabling services for specific reasons. however i know skype doesnt have a set IP range.

    would enabling a firewall rule for 80/443 from the interal to internet ipv4 work or would that circumvent the web filter?
