Web Filtering - no matching profile found

Hi,

i defined a range (192.168.0.100 - 150) - this range is allowed to access the internet. I added the range in the web filtering area to the allowed networks.

When a host is calling a webpage i get the message: No matching profile found

When i remove the range from the list and add "internal network" then everything works fine.

Did i a mistake regarding the range definition?

    Hi,

    Please bear with me as I'm a Proxy guy, not a Network guy.

    I'm not sure what you mean by defining a range (eg 192.168.0.100 - 150).  I'm not sure how you would do this.  The UTM support objects it calls "Network" which uses CIDR notation, so you would have to do something like create a Network that is 192.168.0.128/26 which would give you IPs from .128 to .191.  Those Network objects can be used in the Available Networks in the Web Filter proxy just fine.

    How are you defining a "network range"?

    If you use a Network object defined as I describe does it work?

    This sounds like a bug.  The new network range definition misbehaves in some other situations, too.  If you have a commercial license, please have your reseller open a ticket with Sophos Support.
