Hi, I've been working on my UTM setup for my home network and trying to figure out a best practice for the default web content filter action and a separate one for the kids. The default web content categories don't really work because I'd want to allow some of the subcategories and block others, so I'm thinking about creating a custom "Kids" category that applies just to them and select the subcategories that I want. Is that what other do? I'm debating whether to delete all the default categories because I'm uncertain of whether blocking a particular default category in the default web filter action will let me "allow" a subcategory of that in the kids filter action.
Also, is it a better practice to have the default base filter action be more permissive and then add restrictions to the kid's subnet or have the default filter action be more restrictive and then add permissions to the parent's subnet?
Any tips or suggestions on best practices here would be very much appreciated. Thanks!
