We have set up a Youtube For Schools account, means that we own an according ID for it now. When manually testing that it works.
We need to implement that into our webfilter for the students LAN/WLANs.
Fortunately Sophos UTM comes along with an integrated feature for that. So I activated the Youtube for Schools option, inserted the ID and tested it.
Unfortunately "as a student" I can only see a white screen - no youtube website at all then. When looking into the webfilter log it seems that the UTM is tweaking/manipulation the URL with the correct Youtube for Schools information/ID, then processing that new link again and is manipulation it again. It looks like it is running in circles and causes the website access to timeout on the client's site.
What may I do to make YT4Schools work?
We have a UTM425, running v.9.107-33
This is a log excerpt including the client's IP I tested it with. It goes like this all the time. Other website still work normal.
