active directory users authentication

Hi

is it possible use active directory users authentication without Client Authentication program.

I means users don't need install Client Authentication program and they authenticate in UTM

Hi,
It depends what functionality you need.
Basically I see 4 options to have authenticated connections
1. Web filter with authentication
2. Vpn connections
3. Authentication client
4. Hotspot portal

I want to used 1 and 3 of your option and need control users traffic and bandwidth.
basically is it possible do that with UTM 9.0 software

addition I connect with Active directory and fetch users and group of my AD on users and group.

is it possible make firewall rule with AD users as a source

If you have an Active Directory server in your LAN, then you should try: Configuring HTTP/HTTPS proxy access with AD SSO with a Sophos UTM
