Hi Folks
A solution I felt would be good for sharing...
Flash media on site was returning:
"Streaming server cannot be found. Please verify you have an active internet connection and try again."
Issue was UTM 9.106-17 was not returning any info in any of the logs for anything relevant (Firewall, IPS, Web) - but streaming would work on machines without Endpoint Protection.
I found the following
"By default, the Adobe Flash player uses port 1935 to receive streamed content. The Sophos Web Appliance does not block this traffic (unless you have configured your policy to block Adobe Flash video), but it is common for firewalls to block traffic through this port. If you find that you are unable to view Flash videos in your network, and you have not explicitly blocked access to Adobe Flash video in your policy, open port 1935 access on your firewall." - Known Issues and Limitations
So taking a chance... a simple Firewall entry (see image) and turning Endpoint Protection off and then on again fixed this...
Cheers
Craig
