[9.105-9][BUG?]Has Active Content Removal stopped working?

I have "Remove embedded objects" checked, but all of a sudden Flash is no longer being removed.

The flash content of sites like 7UP.com · Home and nhk.or.jp is not being blocked

Is anybody else experiencing this?

    it depends on how they are embedded now.  Even with all ad blocking turned on and active content removal turned on some of those annoying "video ads" are getting through.  Report it to your partner(if you aren't a home user) it will take time for sophos to find a way to kill these things.

    Hi,
    connected to the sites and then reviewed th eweb log. The 7up is classified as "Business" not "web ad" and the other site is classified as "General News".

    The 7up site appears to be incorrectly classified from the quick look I had.

    Thank you both for your prompt reply.

    Even Flash videos (the feature ones, not just the ad ones) from the History channel (history.ca) now "work" even though I have enabled "remove embedded objects". Before, they used to be blocked.

    Blocking extensions like .swf and .class seems to help for now.

    P.S. I'm a home user.
