Blocking Windows Updates

Hi,

our windows updates (WSUS Server) are blocked by the Webfilter. The logs says that this is a forbidden application. But I cant find the application (see below). Any ideas?

I put the Update Pages as DNS-Group in transparent mode exeptions, too. No idea what wrong.

    Thanks Bob
  • I'm all for obfuscation to preserve anonymity, but you've elevated it to an art form. [;)]

statuscode="200 means the UTM thinks that this access worked fine, so if it didn't, you may need to have this traffic skip the proxy.

url="SomeUpdatePackages.exe" - what is the complete URL?

    What is "External IP"?

    Cheers - Bob
  • Hi I added an expeption list for ssl scanning of the plain IP of the "SomeUpdatePackages.exe" Server. It works fine now [:)] Was a problem with the ssl handshake
