9.104-17 ftp listing in browser causes "Cannot allocate memory"

Hello,

I'm wondering why I cannot find astaro/sophos related information about this Cannot allocate memory problem anywhere, so I decided to make it public in this forum. Perhaps others have this problem as well. 
When trying to access any ftp site or even a non existing dummy site in a browser, the UTM proxy brings an error "cannot allocate memory" (CAM).
If I restart the machine, it will work for some hours and then the CAM error appears again.

I wonder if there is some workarround?

Machine load: CPU ~5%, RAM ~70-85%

    Hi,

    Never seen the error you've described but Mantis is Astaro/Sophos bug tracking system so the Mantis# they gave you is the ID under which they are tracking this bug.

    In the meantime...

    statuscode="502" means that there's an incompatibility with the proxy.  Normally, I would suggest skipping the site for Web Filtering, but those sites are known to work fine with the Proxy.  I just tried ftp.astaro.com both via the HTTP proxy in a Standard mode and via the FTP proxy in Transparent mode.  Both worked flawlessly with V9.104-17.

    What browser are you using - IE9?  Firefox 22.0?  Chrome 28.0?  Those all have worked with ftp.astaro.com for me since we Up2Dated to 9.104.

    I just tried ftp.astaro.com both via the HTTP proxy in a Standard mode and via the FTP proxy in Transparent mode.  Both worked flawlessly with V9.104-17.
    Most sites load fine for me too but I get a few of these lines when browsing ftp sites since 9.103 and now in 9.104

    Bill, are there related segfaults in the kernal log?  We caught you using the Sophos AV instead of Avira! [;)]

    Ha Ha you got me!!! I thought I was following the guidelines set by Grandis Professorem Astaro but somehow changed the scanner to sophos[:$] Although I don't have any segfaults.

    This issue happens with IE8 on WinXP and Win7 (64). Also with FF 22 and 23. As This message comes directly from the proxy I wonder why it should be client related.
    As mentioned earlier, this only happens after some uptime of the ASG320 machine.

    Currently 2 new u2date packages have been released. I'll try them today.

    As this is'nt working, it currently pauses our migration from v8 to v9.
