can range ip used for source network in web protection profile ?

Hii , 

i want to make a web protection profile with range ip address for "source network" , 
i have made a range ip address in network definition 
but that range ip definition i have made couldn't put in "source network" field 

can range ip used for source network in web protection profile ?

    Hi, oki.herdian, and welcome to the User BB!

    Range definitions are new in V9, so my advice is to avoid their use unless absolutely necessary.  Is there a reason you can't use a standard network definition?

    thanks for your reply ,

    for example : i have range definition : 10.10.10.2 - 10.10.10.10 for "VIP"
                                                       10.10.10.11 - 10.10.10.100 for "Guest"

    and i want to build a web protection profile for these ip range , i thing we can't use a standard network definition for this problem .

    Hi, 
    I know changing your networks is a pain, but perhaps you could use:

    10.10.10.32/28 (.32-.47) or 10.10.10.32/29 (.32-.39)  for VIPs 
    and
    10.10.10.128/25 for Guests (.128 - .255)

    so , i must change my network to solve this problem 
     
    and can confirmed that astaro v9 couldn't use ip range definition for the source network ?
