Download progress window

Hi

when downloading files, after clicking the link there is no response and suddenly after one or two minutes i see the file downloaded completley.
it does not show a progress window
this makes the user to click the download again and again and also users complain about this.

any option to show the download the old skool type. ie, it shows the progress when downloading
this happens for AD SSO proxy users
clients through transparent proxy is not having this issue

    Could that be because, for the Transparent users, SSL is not scanned so their https accesses go via a Firewall rule?  For AD-SSO, https is managed, but not scanned unless selected.

    Https scanning is selected for proxy and non proxy users
    port 80 and 443 is blocked for proxy users

    the download happens sometimes but no progress window

    any way to show the progress for proxy users ?
    and sometimes nothing happens on downloading the file is not downloaded

    may be the file is first downloaded to sophos and then transferred to the client
    any option to skip this option ?

    2 leased internet connection - two isp
    48 port switch - unmanged
    local network 1
    all connected to the same switch
    are my connections correct
