Number of sites blocked by webfilter not displayed correctly

Hello,

I have a webfilter running on my astaro-box, version 9.102-8.
The mode of the webfilter is "whitelist" so every site not on the whitelist is blocked by the filter.

Now the dashboard of my astaro-box says:
Web Filter: 0 URLs filtered

Although I know that sites have been blocked:
2013:07:03-07:12:24 Iceman httpproxy[5145]: id="0002" severity="info" sys="SecureWeb" sub="http" name="web request blocked" action="block" method="GET" srcip="192.168.12.26" dstip="" user="" statuscode="403" cached="0" profile="REF_HttProFilterprof (Filter_Profile_Servers)" filteraction="REF_HttCffCertificat (Filter_Act_Certificates)" size="2950" request="0x10b04620" url="bing.com/" exceptions="" error="" category="145" reputation="neutral" categoryname="Search Engines"

2013:07:03-07:13:14 Iceman httpproxy[5145]: id="0002" severity="info" sys="SecureWeb" sub="http" name="web request blocked" action="block" method="GET" srcip="192.168.12.26" dstip="" user="" statuscode="403" cached="0" profile="REF_HttProFilterprof (Filter_Profile_Servers)" filteraction="REF_HttCffCertificat (Filter_Act_Certificates)" size="3040" request="0x108fadf0" url="ie9cvlist.ie.microsoft.com/.../Hardware"

Is the dashboard wrong or am I doing something wrong with the whitelists?

  • Bjoern, in 'Logging & Reporting', does it look like the various reports are being populated?  If so, then I bet this is an issue with 9.102.  If not, then you will want to run /etc/init.d/postgresql92 rebuild from the command line.  Any luck?

    Cheers - Bob
  • Hi Bob,

yes the reports are working fine. An executive report is mailed to me once a day with lots of information and many statistics :-) Except for the sites that have been blocked by the webfilter.
Also the logs show that some sites are blocked by the filter.
