I have run Zyxel/Blue Coat and Untangle proxies with zero issues with server timeouts. This form is full of them.
The answer is "pass" the troubled site and then "pass" the next troubled site and then "pass" the next troubled site. Oh, if you are having "that problem", "pass" the troubled site.
Sophos..... It appears you have a problem. I think a full re-coding of the Webfilter is in order.
Why, an absolutely grade A security product has a problem like this is very disconcerting. One of the key things it is suppose to do, it can't. Oh, it can most of the time. Don't worry, just "pass" that site from inspection. And "pass that site from inspection TOO. Call John up and have him "pass" this site so we can order this part.
I think it is time Astaro/Sophos needs to fix the problem.
Or, do we all keep wishing it worked seamlessly, do they keep putting their head in the sand and say "pass that site" from inspection?
Am I totally off base here, I see a major problem, others may just want to keep adding to the "pass" list.
